Why SiteGrab

The cleanest static export of your site, every time.

Built for marketers, agencies, and operators who want to take a site built in any tool and ship it somewhere simpler — or just archive it.

Portable by default

Flat `css/`, `js/`, `images/` folders. Every link rewritten to a relative path. Drag the zip into S3, Vercel, Netlify, or a plain Apache box.

CMS pages baked in

We capture the rendered HTML — not the CMS templates. Every Webflow CMS item, every WordPress post, every Framer collection entry exports as its own static page.

Clean, not raw

Strip builder badges (Webflow, Framer, Wix, Carrd, Cargo), analytics scripts (GA, GTM, FB pixel, Hotjar, etc.), and platform telemetry you didn't ask for.

How it works

Three steps. Usually under a minute.

You paste, we fetch and tidy, you download. No plugins to install, no proxy to configure.

01

Paste your URL

Enter the public URL of the site you want to export. Pick the platform (Webflow, Framer, Wix, …) or let us auto-detect.

02

We mirror & clean

Our worker fetches every page, pulls all CSS/JS/images from the CDN, strips badges & trackers, and flattens the assets into folders.

03

Download the zip

Open the zip, drop it onto any host. `index.html` is at the root. All links resolve. No dependencies, no build step.

Features

Everything you'd build for yourself if you had a week to spare.

The stuff that makes exports actually usable — not just downloaded.

Platform-aware export

Webflow, Framer, Wix, Squarespace, WordPress — each platform has its own user-agent, CDN allowlist, and badge-strip rules.

Asset reorganization

Files from wherever they lived collapse into `css/`, `js/`, `images/`. Fonts ride with CSS. Name collisions auto-resolve.

Live progress

Server-sent events stream every pipeline step to your browser. You see fetch → clean → zip → upload in real time.

Configurable exclusions

Turn off CSS, JS, or images per export. Rename folders. Strip builder badges and analytics with a click.

Safety built in

Private-IP blocking, redirect-chain re-validation, deny-listed hosts — nothing gets fetched that shouldn't.

Zip download

Auth-gated streaming download straight from your dashboard. No presigned-URL juggling, no shared links.

Platforms

Tuned per builder, not a one-size-fits-all scraper.

Each platform has its own quirks — CDNs, badge placement, animation bindings. We tune one profile at a time and flip it on when it's ready.

Which site builders are supported?+

Webflow today with a fully tuned profile. Framer, Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress are scaffolded and being tuned one by one. The Auto profile covers most everything else — static sites, custom React apps, Jamstack builds, etc.

Will my Webflow animations still work after export?+

Yes. We leave Webflow's `data-wf-*` and `data-w-id` attributes intact and keep `webflow.js` in the bundle. Interactions play on the exported copy the same way they do on the live site.

Does it capture CMS content?+

Yes. We scrape the rendered HTML your CMS produces — Webflow CMS items, WordPress posts, Framer collections — so every dynamic page exports as its own static file.

Where can I host the exported zip?+

Anywhere that serves static files. Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, S3 + CloudFront, a $5 VPS. We ship clean relative paths so nothing breaks when the hostname changes.

Is this legal?+

SiteGrab is for exporting sites you own or have permission to archive. You confirm ownership before every job, and public / private-IP hosts are blocked at the SSRF layer. Don't use it to clone other people's work.

What gets stripped vs. kept?+

Opt-in: builder badges (Webflow, Framer, Wix, Carrd, Cargo + generic "Built with X" footers), analytics scripts (GA, GTM, FB pixel, Hotjar, Clarity, Mixpanel, Segment, Plausible). Everything else — structure, styling, media, interactions — stays untouched.
